the best girls in the world.

30 Day Blog Challenge: Day 9: a picture of you and your best friend.
the most wonderful girls in the world.
from left to right: kayla, me, allie, and pruthvi.

senior year orchestra trip to Chicago. one of the best trips ever.

I seriously love these girls so much. I'm so lucky to have them as my best friends!

I met my dear friend Allie in 5th grade. We didn't really become good friends until 7th grade. And even then, we had maaaaaaany ups and downs. But we got through it, and we're oh so close now! She left me to go to Mizzou, and I miss her a lot! I just love that girl so much. She gives the best advice ever. Seriously. I don't know what I would do without her! And she won't admit it, but she totally loves my sarcasm. Totally. She calls me Sargent Sarcasm, and she's Captain Obvious. Yep.
one of our many early release day picnics. Senior year was perfect.

we're really silly and really weird.
Kayla, oh Kayla. I love her so dearly. We met in 7th grade, aaaaand we didn't like each other very much. At all. BUT, now we absolutely love each other. We started to get really close at the end of our sophomore year and now you can hardly separate us. She took this year off to focus on her passion, which is ballet. I'm so proud of her for doing it. She's an awesome dancer, really! And now she is off to Truman this fall. I'm going to miss her so much! Gah, I don't know what I'll do without her. We spend a freakish amount of time together, and we're just so silly all the time! So many shenanigans.

Pruthvi and I met in 7th grade. It was the first day of school, in orchestra. Pruthvi was brand new to
the school, and she was standing by herself somewhere across the room from my orchdork friends
and I. So, in an un-Sophie like fashion, I walked over to her and invited her to eat lunch with us.
And the rest is, as they say, history! She is such a wonderful, nice, and smart person. (albeit, really sassy.) She's at SLU now, because she's oh so smart. I just love her so much!

Aaaaaaaaaand my sister Chelsey. Of course. We share a brain, it's true. We have the same sense of humor, and our own language. She is the funniest person ever. I admire her so much. Even though she's... kind of mean to me. I love her so so much!

  1. Did you have any friends BEFORE the 7th grade? And I deserve a larger blurb than that. I expect you to dedicate an entire blog post to me on my birthday.
