a bit of materialism.

Let me start this post off by saying... I like my things. I like my clothing, in particular. I have a considerable amount of pretty vintage pieces, a bunch of rad dresses and skirts, and more shoes than some girls can possibly imagine. Also, my closet is cardigan central. I have a plethora of cardigans. With that being said, I oftentimes find myself being caught up in other blogs and thinking about how I wish I had their wardrobe, instead of my own. It happens more than I would like to admit. It's just so easy to want all of the pretty things, despite the equally pretty things that I already own. Le sigh. Instead of going out and buying a thousand new things, like I so want to, I'm just going to challenge myself to create really amazing outfits out of the things I already own, like all of my blog crushes do. Perhaps, I will do some outfit posts to keep me motivated. Good idea? Yes? No?

Here are some looks I am completely smitten with these days:

It was really hard to narrow all of the things I'm loving down to just these few. Anyways, I'm making it a goal of mine to dress extremely fabulous daily, instead of every once and awhile. And, if all of you lovelies agree, I will document it on this here blog! I think it would be fun to be able to watch my style grow and evolve, plus, it'll be a good way to keep me from repeating outfits. Haha! I'm majorly guilty of this.

Here's some Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell to wrap this up. There really is nothing quite like them, is there?
